Details and General Terms

Participants / Prices:  Groups from 1 to 12 participants max. For tours with just 1 or 2 participants there is a minimum price. 3 or more participants pay the price per person. All prices are given in the tour descriptions.
Dates:  The dates for all tours are arranged upon request. You can book a tour for your group exclusively.
Contract / Cancellation:  The contract is made and confirmed by Email as both parties agree on the tour date and price. Cancellation is possible until 48 hrs before tour departure without charge of fee; after that the minimum price has to be paid.
Tour contents:  The tour contents are described at our website www.schaut-auf-berlin-touren.de. Any additional contents must be specified in the Email confirmation by the tour organizer. The course and the exact route of the tour may be altered due to construction work and special events in the city. All information about tour length and distances are just estimated.
Cancellation by tour organizer:  If the organizer needs to cancel or postpone a tour due to illness or other extraordinary events he will notify the participants immediatly and offer another date for the tour. Any down payments will be reimbursed. There is no further compensation. Tours are held at any weather and there is no financial compensation for bad weather conditions. Should any tour guest repeatedly disturb the performance of the tour guide, the guide has the right to break off or cancel the tour. In that case, there is no payment for damages. On the other hand, the organizer reserves the right to demand compensation by the participant concerned.
Safty / liability:  Each participant is expected to obey traffic laws and regulations even if the organizer falls short of doing so. The tour organizer cannot be held liable for any damages that are the result of any participants' lack of caution or recklessness. Each participant has to decide for himself wether he/she is physically able to do the tour. Upon rental of a bike, the participant must check wether the bike is in good condition. The tour organizer cannot be held liable for damages resulting from any (hidden) defects in the rental bikes.
Data Protection:  The tour organizer has to obey the German laws of Data Protection. All personal information about the participants is only used as needed for the tour to be held.
